On Tuesday night, Stanford hoped to continue their streak at home against struggling Miami. Entering the game, the Cardinal had been hot, getting off to a hot streak in conference play. Their last four games saw three victories, coming against Virginia Tech, Virginia, and North Carolina. Miami on the other hand, was really struggling, and still looking for their first victory in conference play.

The Cardinal came out hot, piling up quick and easy points. Not only were they money from outside the arc, but were working it inside at a high level, and went up 21-3.

The Canes were able to pick things up after the run, but not enough to make it too interesting. Stanford still led at the half, 37-21, and looked to even increase the lead in the second half.

Stanford came into the second half looking great. Big threes from the Cardinal brought their lead up to 20+, and they never looked back.

Stanford ended up winning 88-51, picking up their fourth win in five games.

Maxime Raynaud had another incredibly consistent game, putting up 28 points and 12 rebounds. It was his 12th game this season putting up at least 20 and 10.

Jaylen Blakes and Oziyah Sellers both had solid games themselves, putting up 12 and 10 respectively.

But the two best games outside of Raynaud came from Chisom Okpara and Ryan Agarwal, who both had incredible performances on Wednesday. Okpara went 4/4 from the field and finished with 12, while being very aggressive towards the basket. Agarwal put up 11 and 5, and his three point shot started to come back, as he was 3/6 from beyond the arc.

Stanford was able to perform incredibly defensively, letting up just 51. It was their best defensive performance of the season, with the other top games being Cal State Fullerton, giving up 53, and Virginia Tech, giving up 59.

This Saturday, Stanford hosts Florida State, a massive 50/50 game that could overall change the season as a whole. A win could put them in a great position to be apart of the postseason, while a loss could ruin their season, and leave them hopeless for playing March basketball.
